Booking your first clean online takes about a minute, but a lot of people ask what actually happens between confirming a booking and the crew showing up. Here is the short version, start to finish.
The morning of your clean
You will get a notification once the crew starts their round for your postcode district, and a live tracking link opens in your account so you can see roughly when they will reach your address. You do not need to be home. The whole point of a pole-fed system worked from the ground is that nobody needs access inside your property or onto a balcony to get the job done properly.
What to do beforehand, if anything
Honestly, not much. If you have pets that might react to someone moving around outside, it is worth keeping them away from ground-floor windows during the visit. If your driveway or path to any side gate is blocked by a bin, car, or garden equipment, moving it clears the way for the crew to reach every window without delay. Beyond that, there is nothing to prepare. No need to open windows, move furniture, or clear sills inside.
What the crew actually does
Each window gets scrubbed with a soft brush fed by purified water, then rinsed thoroughly. Frames and sills are cleaned in the same pass, not just the glass. The water is left to air dry rather than wiped, which is what leaves the finish streak free. A typical semi-detached home takes well under an hour.
If it is your first clean in a while
Windows that have not been professionally cleaned in over a year often carry more built-up grime, hard water marks, or algae than a routine visit accounts for. That is why a first-clean uplift applies to the initial visit for properties in that situation. It is shown in your instant price before you book, so there is no surprise added afterwards, and it does not carry over to future visits once your round settles into its normal rhythm.
After the visit
Your card on file is only charged once the crew marks the job complete, never before. You will get a receipt by email, and if anything about the clean was not right, you can report it directly from your account and we will sort out a free re-clean or a refund. From there, your address is on the round for your district, and the next visit happens automatically on your chosen cadence.
